  • Yeah, same characters! Well, I pondered a few random things we might be able to do (some of them are weird lol, but I figured what the heck), so let me know if you like any of them! We've got:

    • Senzumi wedding day
    • Visiting a theme park
    • Christmas with Koizumi's parents and/or Sendo's father
    • A picnic at the park
    • A trip to the beach

    Regarding your update--that's terrible! I hope it's nothing too serious... ;o; I don't mind putting the reboot on hold, I'm just worried about Loli. ;n;
    Ohhh, okay that makes sense. It sounds fun! owo So, what kind of AU would you be looking to try then?

    Haha, probably. xD
    That's a possibility, but... what's an AU? Not to sound stupid. ^-^'

    She would probably say something like "If you're implying that a girl's heart is easily broken, you better take that back, you brute!". xD
    Hmm, I'm not sure... It'd probably be beneficial to take the characters from the mansion if we are practicing for that, but then that might be hard since none of what we roleplay would be for real. What do you think?

    Yes, I did, ehe. I figured it sounded like something Sendo might say in one of his thoughtful moods. xD It kind of depends on the character though, too. I don't think Yuki would say something that deep without putting her own childish/naive spin on it.
    It kind of sounds like the name of a romance novel. :T

    True!

    Ah, I see! That makes sense. I don't think I'd have any problems jumping right in, but a bit of practice never hurt, eh? If you want to, I don't mind brushing up on my skills! C:
    I like to make up my own quotes because I'm a sucker for trying to be original, hehe. Quotes are really fun! When you have a lot of diverse OCs, try this: Take one of them, grab their beliefs and personality, sum it up in a sentence (or a couple of them!) and arrange it to be said in your character's point of view. It should end up pretty interesting! "Hearts are fragile things, we must use light words if we hope to touch one without leaving cracks."

    Well, to be fair I don't always use actual names. I'll look up a cool word I like in the EUdict dictionary and see what it sounds like in Japanese--I suppose to anyone who knew the language it would be akin to naming a kid after an everyday object or word. It'd be like: "the twins are so cute! Let's name one Left, and the other Right, darling!" Although I don't think I've ever chosen a word that everyday, lol.
    Yes, I think that's why I didn't like those scenes the best, ahaha. Although the roleplay is in the horror genre... xD

    It's always hard to give a good balance and not go overboard with cool/good qualities, haha. It's funny because I actually have a really hard time playing characters that aren't OCs, since I often feel like I'm doing it wrong, and I know that I'm not playing them the way that they would act in whatever they came from. I would end up adding my own qualities to them that would keep that character from holding true to their personality. The only exception I've made was playing Kyubey in my Puella Magi roleplay because he's a pretty straightforward character, but even then it can be difficult to decide whether he would act a certain way.
    Yes! I always think of roleplays as though they could be a movie or anime, it helps me to be more serious about my posts and get me more into the story. Yeah, that's understandable. I'M distressed over Shinohara's death...! ;o;

    Lol, I've pondered the idea that it could be a name he gave himself over an old one, but I'm not sure it matters, since they always have those sort of names in anime anyway.

    Ohh, so that's what Koizumi means, then? ;3 The Small Spring of Death... that sounds really crazy, haha!

    I know what you mean! I don't really know which I prefer though, they both have their pros and cons.
    Haha, yeah! Although he doesn't roleplay a whole lot--at least, not as much as I do. :T However, most of my family roleplays at least a little bit which is cool. I might have told a few people about how the mansion roleplay was going a couple of times. xD

    I think I like a hearty mix, but it's more the type of person that I would prefer to roleplay. I like to play sensible and friendly characters as well as people with a strong sense of justice. Of course, it's always fun to change it up with an evil character, and there are tons of personalities I have't played yet! Sendo was definitely a first as far as playing a gentlemanly character, and I find that it was really exciting to do--not to mention I got to show off my grammar skills a little, hehe.
    Yeah, Z is kinda the only killer that didn't turn "good" or die haha. ;o;
    So sad. I hope we can make it happy.!
    It always does seem to be that way in shows and movies though, doesn't it? I wonder why that is...? Probably because the viewers get attached to the characters that do more, and so it would tug on their heartstrings more if they were killed. It gives some extra time to develop the characters that haven't done much yet.

    Yess! <3

    Interesting! Japanese names are so fun, ahhh! Speaking of which, did I ever mention that Sendo means 'death'? xD

    Just looked at it a little while ago, it's so perfect!

    Hmm, I wish we had more room to type on visitor messages--I always have to split these up. :L
    Oh yeah, that happened to me a lot when I first made OCs, and it can get really frustrating--but just remember that the form doesn't always define your character completely. Take Sendo for example, my first ideas for him were that he was a crazed killer obsessed with playing life-threatening games that his victims needed to endure, and if they didn't die playing the game, he killed them anyway. Personally, I don't think much of that stuck to his current personality at all. Rather, he turned out kind of strange and gentlemanly, and he believed he was killing for a reason before deciding to turn a new leaf. He seems to have developed standards, haha, but I digress. The important thing is to get a basic idea down and really learn how you want your character to be through roleplaying them. Try to use the form as a guideline if following it to a T would make your character seem flat.
    Yeah, to be fair it probably wasn't going to turn out to be my older brother anyway or I would have known, haha. I think ponies are cute, but I don't love them to the brony extent, that's for sure. I watch the show with my little sister though, and it's far better than a ton of other cartoons on TV.
    They talked briefly when Sendo was leading the group of investigators and Teela through the mansion, but when he tried to convince her to stick with their group for safety, she wouldn't have it. If I remember correctly it was Teela's presence that bothered her most, but she was pretty rude to Sendo too, haha. Probably best for her that she left anyway though, since Teela lost it shortly afterward and killed Kenai.

    Also second thought, Koizumi can sway Sendo's thinking pretty easily, so she could likely change his mind if she chose the right words. Shouldn't be too hard with how he feels about her, hehe.

    Yeah, I was wondering why in the world my brain wanted me to spell it that way so badly, lol. Since I've written it so many times now though, I'm pretty sure I've got the spelling down. ^-^ I can't remember too much about the character but the translator I used to get the name said Koimizu meant 'tears of love'. Makes me want to go dig up the bio. :T
    Must be a different person--the one I know isn't crazy about ponies, haha. I know what you mean! It's hard to find good roleplayers that aren't too busy to join in. I think we can manage an ending without the others, but it would have been more fun if they were around still.

    Yeah, I have a bit of experience writing for several characters in the same post already so I'm sort of used to it by now, but I know how hard it can be, especially when there's a lot to write for each one. It's always fun to be surprised, and truthfully I mostly just picture my favorite hypothetical situations in detail really, so it's not like I've got the whole ending figured out already or anything, lol. I think you should try designing some OCs! The first ones might feel like they're missing something, but you'll get better at creating stories and designs for them as you do it more. Plus, there's this awesome feeling when you present the character and it's completely your creation. I think you could do it~
    Oh yeah, I forget if I said this already or not but remember when I kept writing Koimizu instead of Koizumi? Well, apparently it's the name of an old character of mine that I forgot about. That would explain why it kept popping into my head that way when I was writing.
    I love rereading roleplays, it gets me so excited for the characters! Ahh, really? Must be a cool guy, hehe. Out of curiosity, what was the username? It probably isn't the person I'm thinking of, but I know someone who loves shiny Umbreon and roleplays as well.

    Thanks so much for your kind words! I work hard on my characters so it's nice to hear that it shows. ;o; Being able to create posts spontaneously is a good skill to have, though! I'm guilty of typing up whatever comes to mind as I write as well to be honest, but a lot of times I've already thought up reactions to a broad selection of situations for my characters because I'm hopeless, hahaha.

    Ah, I know what you mean! I keep thinking about Yuki, Sendo and Koizumi. From their interactions, I didn't think Saionji liked Sendo very much either, aha. She's gonna have to deal, lol. It's probably going to be hard for Koizumi to convince Sendo not to confess to his past crimes now, but he also thinks she dislikes him at the moment.
    Yes, although I wonder how we'll do it.. do we improvise that the characters gone are dead? Or they escaped? I'd feel awful playing as them. ;v;
