I had canceled my physical preorder and decided to go digital because I thought I'd get it earlier and no need to swap the games (I mostly swap in Ring Fit Adventure)
But then a couple days ago my boyfriend said he'd get a copy as well.
The reason I started looking at Animal Crossing was because he mentioned he played it a lot before (and at the time I didn't understand why) and I thought it'd make a nice birthday (early April) gift.
So I preordered a copy for him on the 16th. If it wasn't for it, I'd have to wait until digital unlocks.
Hopefully he'll be understanding of my obsessed state and will let me play his game on my Switch.
I'm working from home but for Friday which I'm taking off, so it will be after work.

How is the current situation where you're at and how are you handling it?
