ahahaha
8 CLASSES WOW
We get a maximum of 6 classes--unless if some of what you have is bouncing between semesters?
Our requirements here are 4 years of English (English 9, 10, 11 or AP Lang, 12 or AP Lit), 2 of a foreign language (BUT THEY ONLY OFFER SPANISH AND LATIN), 4 of Math*, 3 of Science (Biology and Chemistry required), and I think 3 of Social Studies (Civics/Economics taken the same year, US History and then World History). Generally, a Visual/Performing Arts Class can replace a foreign language class.
Math's general progression goes like this for Honors: Pre-Algebra 7th, Geometry 8th, Algebra I S.T.E.M. 9th, Algebra II S.T.E.M. 10th, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry or AP Stats 11th, and the AP Calculus AB and BC or simply AP Stats in 12th. For non-honors, move everything a year later and then make senior year anything math-related. There are so many classes which are considered math related, ahaha...
Sorry, I practically write essays when it comes to academics ahaha
