Nah we bought a piece of lino that looks like wood and placed it over the whole floor, and then used the 2 planks that come with the run in the covered area and placed them in the food/water area to keep the rest of the area cleaner and dry (the wood absorbs the occasional bottle drip). We didn't really need them in the covered area since there's just the litterbox there.

It's not fit for outdoor use because it doesn't stop water.

It's really great, I LOVE it. Super light so easy to clean because of the shape and easy to move when needed, and the covered area is perfect for a litterbox. Chewbacca is actually free range, so the hutch is just to keep his stuff in so that he has his own space, it's only closed at night or when no one is home which is rare. :)
I wouldn't say it's big enough for a rabbit to live in all the time.
