I took lots of pictures! I was pretty protected because the zoo had a high security system. (Electric fences that have voltage raised to the limit of every animal, security cameras, special gates etc.) We were at least a kilometre away from the lions and hyaenas.

My class went on a overnight excursion to Monarto Zoo and we slept in a non-public bush-camp that is part of the zoo. Every animal had a large habitat to run and play around in.

I would have been scared too!
