but you should talk to ALL your villagers, because they may not move because they're in the state that "you've been ignoring them" and will just not do anything. the "99%" foolproof way that i always use is to keep talking to villagers until they mention about rumours. if their rumours is about you being a flower fan, shopaholic, aka village rumours, and you get them out of at least 2 villagers without a rumour about someone moving, then you're good to tt 1 day forward and backward and repeat. reason for "at least 2" is because the one you talked to might be the one moving. so if you can get a village rumour out of someone else, then you're good. if you do finally get the rumour about someone moving, then just find that villager and s/he will ping you. if you just stopped someone from moving, someone just moved out or moved in, you are safe to tt 2 days forward and 2 days backward and repeat the same procedure above :O...
