YES. OMG. There's this one English teacher I have had for the whole year and she's completely nuts about homework, constantly assigning reading and mini-essays. I'm gonna kill myself or something from doing that much-- and it's a regular class. But she let up after a lot of students complained and were suffering from it.
I heard in Finland they don't have homework, but my friend in Finland completely disagrees. lol

Those SAT essays... I remember those days. But honestly, the ACT was a lot better and easier for me. I took the SAT twice and still got the same score. lolololol
I'll probably start at my essay at midnight and see where I get. Before that, I'll be on and off reading and taking notes.
I remember back when I was little when I changed from a school that had hw on the weekends to a school with no hw on the weekends. It was pretty relieving but-- now that I think about, it wasn't even that much hw. XD
