  • I'll try to catch you on tomorrow around 11 am. I'll probably visit using my other characters, because "Caker" the one I added you on is my mule, lol. She has no tools.

Same with me, just pm whenever. I'll try to lurk for Marshal for you at trading threads  You deserve a Marshal!!
    :)
    Thanks :D
    Found out that there is going to be a sherlock special at one point.... Im freaking out... help me );
Whitney just moved into my cycling town, so be sure to lurk on my thread if you want her :)
hey, lady! how are you doing? c: i haven't seen you around lately, so i was just wondering~
It has some happy moments too. But it's not action packed. You'd have to be into that kind of slow story building to enjoy it.
I'll give you my honest opinion on Ender's Game...good or bad. :D But ya, I'm not a snob about books/movies, I just go with whatever appeals to the mood I'm in atm. I've been surprised to many times to limit myself.
I'll check out Ender's Game, since you're recommending it. I like such random things, I can never predict how I'll feel before actually trying something. Twilight is good, if you just accept it for what it is lol. I used to read romance novels too. And it's kind of that way--mindless fantasy. There's a LOT wrong with it if you want to pick it apart, but if you just let it be, I think it's fun. Memoirs of a Geisha is a long book, and it's the story of a geisha's life in the 30s/40s Japan. It's beautiful and slow and sad. Kind of the opposite of Twilight actually! XD
No, I had to look it up just now. Is it good? I don't read sci-fi, because a book is a longer time commitment lol. But I do watch sci-fi movies, especially good ones that make you think. I read Perks/Wallflower and Memoirs of a Geisha before the movies, but the rest, I saw the movie first. Oh I forgot Twilight and The Princess Diaries...those I like the books MUCH better too. Ok, seriously you got me started on a topic I could go on and on about lol XD
yeah i mean i'm only watching the anime because i'm a sports anime junkie and hq is my current main fandom but i really highly recommend it it's just so you can go through all the arcs without having to wait every week.

um like two years ago? anime north 2012 was when i wore mine i think but my friend lives in california so she wore hers to fanime 2012, i believe.
It's mostly because I get obsessed with things I like. Um, mostly I read bios/YA/random dumb stuff...lol, nothing to brag about. But on topic, here's some examples:

    Lolita
    Bridget Jones's Diary
    Gone With the Wind
    Girl, Interrupted
    Virgin Suicdes
Perks of Being a Wallflower (this one I liked the book MUCH MUCH more than the movie)
    Memoirs of a Geisha
    lol, very random stuff. XD
I do both ways. I try to keep them separate...because a LOT of times they change things for movies, and books usually come first. I can't think of any that I thought one was better than the other. I always just fall in love with either a book or movie, then want more, so then I look to see if I can find it in any other form. Sometimes you can even find scripts of movies, and there's extra info in them...like notes to the actors or descriptions etc.
it's actually 3 episodes in haha it's really good i highly recommend the manga if you don't wanna wait but the anime has been really true to the manga in look and feel!

yeah gold and silver are my favourite trainer/rival pair (especially in the manga) touya and n are a close second. hugh is really cute too, i love his hair. my friend cosplayed cold the same year i cosplayed gold!
haikyuu!! i think the anime is airing this season but my icon is a fan-coloured panel of the manga
Frances Hodgson Burnett. The book is great too. She also wrote A Secret Garden. Also a great movie. XD I always look for the movie if it's a book I love and the book if it's a movie I love. lol
