Yis!! It was a nice calm~ I love seeing more character development but you just know our rick has been through so much just for the mere fact he's not phased by dimension-swapping anymore. AHHH. His little concerned moment in Unity "are my grand children still alive?" where you could just see the paranoia and the slight "oh god not again" on his face o - o

I do think we're following different sets of ricks and morties~ I'm not sure if we really are following the one that becomes evil--- but you remember rick's comment about over-confident morties being a bad thing after they met the evil one? We're getting a LOT of over-confident Morty moments since then--- especially in the season opener when they broke their time--- there was one morty at any given time who started talking back to rick--

And oh my gosh the 3rd ep this season (I think it was 3rd, the one with unity) seriously almost made me cry~ I think they might be switching between which dimension's rick & morty we're following and giving us an idea of how the evil morty came to be * u * I'm so excited <3 this show is fabulous!
