Yes, it started from a single song! Haha. He's in a game I love too though - Samurai Warriors. I only got into that around Christmas though. Amusingly enough, I bought it because I loved Hyrule Warriors - Oda Nobunaga being in it was just the icing on the cake... and may be the reason I've spent around 150hrs on the game and I'm still not bored. >.> That's cool about your friend! I wanted to study it formally but lacked the grades to take a traditional route into higher education. ): Uh, that's an open-ended question haha. Various aspects of pop culture, food (cooking it!), classic literature, geography, politics, structure of modern society, etc. History is definitely the main one though! I adapted a short story into a screenplay for uni last year, set in Kyoto in the 1860s, which gave me the perfect excuse to do more research into the Edo period and Meiji Restoration.
