Hey, I have a question for you. What did you think about that Simpsons episode that everyone hates, The Principal and the Pauper?

I love every Simpsons episode, just not equally. It was a risky move to imply Seymour was an imposter, because you’ve suddenly got a bunch of loopholes to explain, and then the writers would have to be careful moving forward to not touch on the subject. I mean, a recent episode (I’d guess season 33) had Seymour upset because Agnes wasn’t going to leave him a quilt that had been in the family for generations, so you have to ask yourself why would Armin Tamzarian care about something like that?
So yeah, not the best direction in terms of writing, but it still had its shining moments, like when Ralph and Lisa were doing the presentation for Skinner.

I thought the episode would be way worse than it actually was. It felt like a normal Simpsons episode besides the fact that the plot doesn’t really make sense. It’s definitely a good idea that they’ve kind of unretconned the retcon, because otherwise it raises a lot of questions and implications, like how everyone was just fine with forcing the real Seymour out of town, including his own mother.

Of course! They're one of the best villains to come out in a Disney film in a long while! And such a twist character to!

Very random pop-in, but I just wanted to say that I always enjoy reading your posts! It's pretty rare to see someone who shares a similar sense of humor as I do. 😁

(Also, I'm dying to know where you got your quote in your most recent post in "The out of context quotes thread" - Beret of poodle on my noodle? XD)
🥰 You are a treasure, Mr. Fox! Thank you so much for my balloon :D it will be the centerpiece of a glorious line-up, so thank you for this wonderful gift! ❤️
