IT MINE AS WELL BE. There's so many "anime" parts to it oml. Like this one character believes that killing you is the hopes and dreams of all monsters, so they try to kill you in the name of "monsterkind" and ****.
It's a lot more complex that how I'm explaining it, but basically you play as someone who becomes trapped in the world of monsters who want to take your soul so they can escape the monster world, and the goal is to make it back to the surface yourself.
