you can earn bells in many different ways:
------------------------------------------------
- be an active member and comment alot (no spam tho) the longer the comment the more bells you earn
- create threads, I belive you earn more bells for creating one that writing a regular comment. again the longer the op the more bells you earn
- if you happen to have valuable collectibles sell them, the more rare the higher the price of course
- if you play acnl, you can sell villagers or hybrids or rare items for quite a lot of btb
- if you managed to get enough acnl in game bells you can convert those into btb by asking in the tbt market place
- always check the train station and the re-tail forum section for giveaways, there's at least one everyday
- if you happen to know a thing or 2 about art and signature making, you can always open a shop for art or sig requests in the museum, people love those
