Hey Stina! As to your question, I made the avatar, but the art that's being featured in it was done by hzl. From what I remember when I last saw her shop, it was closed for the time being -- for school and health reasons. She might open up again in the future, but I'm not sure.

Cuz the frustration just caused me to stop playing. My town is literally on hold whenever I move someone in.

I'm not even being too specific, I'm just disgusted with all the whitney/rosie/julian/marina dupe threads I have to keep seeing.

I just can't deal with how most of the cyclers run things now...it's like the same villager is available FOREVER. Waiting days for someone to pick up Angus, Truffles, Cobb etc. It's literally drving me insane. I didn't check on Teddy for 4 days! First for me (when I have my ds).

In regards to your question:

I have read about PWPs being used to prevent a villager from moving where not wanted, and to make it more likely if not entirely certain that they would move into the 'plot' the player wants.

I have also read about someone not getting a villager because they tried the above trick but were wrong about having a 'plot' available.

In other words, from what I have read, I believe that it is definitely possible for a villager to not move in if the PWPs, existing villager houses, town hall, etc. all combine to leave no open space, or if the only open 'plot' was not made available on time.

But in this case I believe the villager would also send you a letter saying that there was a change of plans, or something of that sort.

Do you think any of this might be relate-able to your town?
