    I was the same way. I did cave and buy 5 blue roses and I got one purple pansy from a friend that I was able to breed with a Red Hybrid that I was finally able to get. I'll turn on my DS now for you.

    I actually found that once I had a few grown, I could easily get lots of blue roses and purple tulips. Purple tulips seem to breed easily too - although it took forever to get the first two tulips.

    I've been breeding hybrids for a long time too! The ones I'm having trouble getting more of are orange lilies, orange roses, blue lilies. I have some of all of those but trying to get more - even with the gold shovel and fertilizer - is proving to be tricky. Any you need? I have them all and lots of most.

    Ok you're gonna have to turn off the wifi so it doesn't save because I didn't realise until I sold some turnips that they're only 75 right now so think you need to TT.
