It's the fishing contest in my game because I'm a few days ahead. Instead of catching the largest of whatever kind of fish, it seems to be the largest fish in general. I am a horrible cheater that turned in fish from the island. I have a whale-shark on standby if needed. :s

It's because I prefer the original, like you said. I like the looks of it, which sounds silly, but I don't like looking at something eyesore.
Also, the pixals show clearly on the 3DS XL to me. Sometimes it's blurry too.
The 3D is so strong that I see double image. Even on the lowest setting. On the original, the 3D was perfect and I rarely saw double image, even on the highest.
It's also heavy, when I play in bed I drop it on my face sometimes!

My villagers mention numbers too, but not very often. A translation would be great!

I had my 3ds plugged into the English charger and after a while my 3ds started flashing to show the battery was running out. .__.;

You have to have the second floor built, at least one thing donated to each section and then eventually Blathers will suggest to you that the Cafe should be built. It will show up as a mystery project.
