Well, I'm an idiot. I forgot I asked to get Mary's house expanded this morning so even though the Red Barn Exterior is in my Nook's he wouldn't let me order it for Mary's house. Then I was so frazzled over that happening that when I went to get Bo's hair color done I didn't go down far enough on the slider and got the wrong color. Ugh!

I was in Tokyo earlier this year for work but before that my friend and I went to Kyoto as well and it was so lovely <3 I want to travel to other places in japan next year too.

I was supposed to visit Korea during xmas-january but the flights were too expensive so I went a little earlier this month to see my grandma. Now there's nothing really special going on for me. I will probably be working at my family's restaurant XD If our schedules match, I might get to travel to Vietnam with my friend! I've never been there so I hope I can go!

Ooh that's really interesting! We eat rice cake soup during new years! The bell probably refers to the bell ringing ceremony. In the Joseon era it was used to signify the start of a day, but now it's used to ring in the new year. Every year the temple is so crowded during the ceremony that I never wanted to go ahhaa. It's funny because our family also has a "bell knicknack" but a small table top one. That's true! I love giving my family & friends gifts but I do 99% of the holiday shopping & wrapping so it does wear me down a bit. lol! I don't think either of us want to be stuck with the 3DS all the time!
