Well ironically enough, I do exactly the same thing! I ALWAYS take my 3DS, games (that's in my carry case), power bank (to charge 3DS if needed) and charging cable in my carry bag that also houses my house keys, wallet and mobile phone. However I left my game unattended at a Pokemon Conference once, and someone stole it. I was so angered, I vowel'ed never again shall I leave it completely out of my site.
But yeah, I wish I had my money back
that's the major thing that really made me angry. I mean I have like a couple million now from help from this forum but yeah, just wish I had more :'(
