I paid off my loan before talking to him, which is strange, because I recall only being able to pay off your loan after you spoke to him. It caught me by surprise, so I just had to save that pic. That's my second character named Jötunn, which I had originally planned on making him a "bad guy" so to speak. So I went ahead and pretended that Tom Nook was nervous and allowed him to get his house upgraded for free. xD
