    Is Serena from City Folk? I remember seeing a statue that looked like her. It was on top of a fountain I think.

    Thanks. I thought I remembered the statue on the fountain but I wasn’t for sure if that was her. I’ve never seen her in her living form! She’s very pretty. I wonder how she comes to life? It’s been so long since I’ve played city folk.

    You can get a fountain in your own town by donating bells. (The fountain has a different appearance from the one in the city and lacks the Serena statue, so if you thought she came to life from a statue unfortunately that’s not the case lol) You then summon her by throwing an axe into the fountain. The purpose of this was to navigate through a series of luck-based questions to have a chance at getting a silver or golden axe. This was notoriously difficult and Serena’s snobbish attitude didn’t help so she became rather infamous in the community. She didn’t return in future games for unknown reasons.
