Oh wow don't feel bad! When I adopted apple I didn't think I'd love her as much as i did so I didnt bother to do the plot reset trick and her house was in a horrible spot so I decided I'd let her move regardless so I can cycle her back in and place her house somewhere decent! Besides you gave me Julian so don't feel bad!!
