(3/3) We don't watch over every inch of the forum, and rely heavily on user reports, and those threads simply weren't reported. If a user reports a thread and brings it to our attention, then we are inclined to intervene if it breaks one of our rules. Just because your old threads were kept open and not brought to our attention does not mean they were allowed, it just means we weren't alerted. Even if we don't distribute these codes, we still distribute TBT Bells and we are allowed to dictate what they can/can't be trade for. They are a privilege and we could easily get rid of them, but we keep them around because we understand that a lot of users find the trading aspect of the site fun. With such an online monopoly, there are limitations we have to enforce to prevent exploits happening, and as it currently stands, we don't allow them to be traded for virtual goods that can be purchased with real money. Whether or not you agree with this ruling it is something that you need to respect.

(2/3) If we were to allow your thread to continue, that would be completely unfair to everyone else who has created these types of threads in the past, which we had to lock, or warn users for in more serious cases. You may not agree with this rule, but as it stands we do not allow these types of trades to take place, but there are other types of digital goods we allow to be sold for TBT Bells, such as art, collectibles and Pokemon. Saying that you "pay for your internet connection so collectibles have a real currency value!" is a very childish argument; I understand that you have made these types of threads in the past and had no issues, which may leave tour frustrated, however, some of those threads were made before this ruling came into effect. As for the others, they simply slipped past us.

(1/3) Nothing about this situation is a personal attack at all, and I don't understand why you think that. I'm sorry if this ruling makes you feel uncomfortable, but we stopped allowing any trades that involve RLC and TBT Bells a long time ago, and that included trading TCG codes. Our Rules and Guidelines very clearly state that these types of trades are not allowed. It is not that we are targeting you for whatever reasons, it is simply because these types of trades violate our Rules and Guidelines.

I will bring these suggestions up with the rest of the staff.

I understand your point, but as you said, the codes are a "bonus" for buying TCG cards, thus giving the codes a value representative of real money, which would be the price of buying the TCG pack. We do not allow members to trade TBT Bells for anything that has a value of real world currency, and currently that includes TCG codes.
