  • I was sort of disappointed by X and Y, so the hype for it isn't as strong, but I still am quite excited for it nonetheless.
I can agree with that. I'm only ever in it for the story, and any new gameplay aspects. However, it's like once you play a Zelda game, it's hard not to stop.
Lucky you! The artistic pallet looks really nice for a game of it's style. I really can't wait to see what they do with Hyrule field and Gerudo desert, as those are probably the largest areas in the game. I'm also looking forward to the new areas they may add. Along with that, they could really do something great with Lake Hylia.
I've seen a little bit of the E3 stuff. However, didn't see much at all. From what I've seen, the demo had a giant open playing field, and yet it only covered a fraction of what was really in the game. Seeing how large that area was really excites me. I'm a sucker for open world games.
I'm really speaking from a perspective of someone who's only really seen the trailer. I've played Skyrim quite a bit, it is amazing. It's immersive, it's expansive, and it's great overall. If they can catch the same feeling of adventure, I'd love it. I heard that the map in the new Zelda is about the same size as that of the size of Skyrim. Of course, I don't know for sure, but all I know is that it'll be quite amazing.
