Haha you're welcome!! I'm glad he showed up and in a good spot! I'm not sure what would cause a move-in delay, that's super weird! But at least we figured it out before he showed up randomly tomorrow in your town and plotted in a bad spot!! Enjoy him!
Okay so his house is still there but when I go up to the door it says "moved out," so it must have worked when you talked to him... if there's for sure no plot when you try plot resetting, maybe load up your mayor and go forward one day and then try plot resetting on that day?

Or sometimes a villager can take longer to show up, I've had that happen before! But he's still in boxes in my cycle town if you want to try again!
