actually, for this particular hasty froakie set, 6 perfect ivs is the only thing that is considered PERFECT for froakie.
and the other one was a 4iv
maybe try to calculate the x attack stat, to see if good or not?
whats their "x" (unknown) stat? attack?
ur aiming for shiny froakie? dude if u continue breeding u can get like three 6iv froakies before u get a shiny
unless u get super lucky! r u breeding 5iv protean froakie and ditto? females are rarer so keep them if you hatch a good iv one :)
and also, if u cant get a 6iv froakie, just use an iv calculator: http://www.metalkid.info/Pokemon/Calculators/IV.aspx
just save the game, spam rare candies to ur desired specimen, then see if you like the ivs on the non-perfect stats. generally, anything higher than 24 is good, and below is bad.

in my game im breeding regenerator foongus. still have to wait for my 3ds to breed a perfect hp fire one though T.T
