How have you been?
We had a pretty crazy snowstorm here last night. I was driving somewhere and I nearly turned around and went home as I could hardly see. I'm glad it didn't last too long at least.
You ready for Christmas? It doesn't really feel like it's almost that time of year again but here we are.

Oh yeah I forget to mention I saw your post in the what do you look like thread a while back. That hat really looks good on you! I love it. I recently got up the courage to post in that thread as well. It’s not an easy thing to do that’s for sure.

Even though I’ve played pretty much all the games and have been a fan of the games since 2006 I don’t completely get all the complaints. I feel bad for the creators as so many people are being mean to them just because they don’t like what they are hearing and seeing about the games. Which is ridiculous as the games aren’t even out yet so there’s no way they could have even given them a chance. I’m definitely willing to give it an honest shot and I’m pretty excited for the release. Of the starters I originally liked Grookey the best but after seeing the evolutions I have to agree with you with Scorbunny’s evolution, so I’m probably gonna pick him instead of Grookey. You getting Shield is actually perfect that way we can trade the version exclusives with each other! I’m definitely gonna want a Galarian Ponyta at some point it’s super cute!

I am getting Sword on Friday. Despite the complaints from a lot of fans I'm still really looking forward to it. In my opinion being only a month behind isn't a bad thing as more will be known about new mechanics at that point so getting help will be much easier. I got Pokemon X around a month after it had released and it was definitely was handy knowing a couple of tips going in.

What do you think of the starters so far? I love how cute all of them are this time so it's super hard to choose one.

I'm excited for the new Pokemon games next week. I know you don't have a Switch yet, but when you do get one, do you think you'll get Pokemon for it?

Thankfully for relaxing games like NH the Joycons aren't too bad. Especially in handheld mode (when they are attached to the sides of the system). I play that way often. I'm not a fan of using them when I play on the TV though. They just don't feel as comfortable in the grip separate from the system. This is where the Pro Controller is really nice to have.

Either way hopefully you can figure out a comfortable way for you to play.

Doesn't help that the controls aren't as nice or easy to use on 3DS in my opinion. Even on the bigger XL. If you do end up playing it at some point, I highly suggest a Pro Controller they are much more comfortable and easier to use than the Joy-cons. I only have one Pro Controller at the moment so my boyfriend and I take turns using it. My thumb has definitely slipped off the small sticks of the joy-cons but not on the pro.

Yeah I have had a hard time getting into the older game as well. In 3 once you unlock Gooigi you can play two players while working together with someone which is super fun. If you find you die a lot definitely play together with someone else playing as Luigi. gooigi has low health but he can indefinitely respawn as long as Luigi is still alive.

Yeah my family isn't much into Halloween anymore. I'd still like to be though. This year I at least got to play Luigi's Mansion together with boyfriend which was the perfect spooky game for Halloween. My guess for the counting contest was nearly 100 off and I felt like my guess was at least sort of close. Boy was I wrong haha. That's too bad that you didn't have quite enough for the Pierrot Candy. The Wix candy has got to be my favourite though so I'm glad you were able to get one before they sold out.

Yeah I definitely used to crave them regardless, it's just these last few years I haven't. Maybe once I move there will be more kids and I'll feel motivated to do it again as I quite enjoy it. I'm glad you got the collectible you wanted. I got mine as well along with a bonus one. I really enjoy all the colourful candy collectibles. Though I'm glad I didn't have much interest in the new doll as cute and strange as it is. I wasn't even online when enough tokens were given out to get one. I'm more than happy with my candies. I hear you on the counting contest even after using rough math to help justify my answer I was still super off. I'm just glad that only one round of that contest one the voting.

Yeah the weather was really nasty. I’m sure some kids braved it to get some candy regardless. I actually live on the outskirts of town so I never get any kids here. It’s too bad as I quite enjoy craving a pumpkin but rarely bother anymore as one one ever visits to see it. How did the TBT Halloween event treat you? I found it was super fun. Though I can’t get over just how many candy Pumpkins were in that jar wow!

Thanks I hope you had a great Halloween! Mine was ok considering we had a major rain and wind storm that caused a lot of damage in some places. Not many kiddies were out last night that's for sure.

Took me a couple days before I really had some time to work on my monster but it’s now complete.

No worries I haven't submitted mine just yet. I have an idea sketched out on a sticky note though. I'm hoping to turn it into a full sketch later tonight if I get time.
