I just done with Chapter 2 and got more butterfly tasks. It involved some girl escaping from the castle and attempting to beat the red dragon.

By the way, you should head to back to your main town, and go see the big smiling guy with the fairy which is found a little closer to your house. Afterwards, complete butterfly's tasks by visiting various shops and points of interests in this town (including one that is found after crossing the first bridge in that grassy field, as well of the your house's first floor). Sometimes, you have to talk to the NPCs handling on there to trigger cutscenes explaining what they actually do. Go talk to the butterfly in your room if you have finished everything.

The catch is, you can't use warp soliders and Multiplayer when you're in the middle of a chapter in progress. Sounds annoying, but they seem to be generally easy to do and doesn't last too long before you'll have access to them again.

I think that's the reward for those who previously purchased the original Fantasy Life along with the DLC that transforms into Fantasy Life LINK!. Mint would get it as well if she bothers purchasing the DLC.

Did you triggered a cutscene inside the Guild's building (the one indicated by a Wheel on the map)? If not, you'd need to complete some more tutorial quests (the ones that are told by the butterfly). Once you've got them done, just talk to the butterfly in your home's room, accept it and you'll advance the story a bit. If you trigger an intro video while sleeping, you should be able to use the gate afterward.

To access Internet Play, go in the Guild's building, walk all the way up until you see three guys behind the counter. The left is for StreetPass, middle for Link features (this can activate Link messaging, kinda like how BF feature in ACNL operates), and right for Multiplayer. Talk to the latter guy, select "マルチプレイ", then "インターネット". If you want to seek "open gates", pick the first option (and hit the blue button if there isn't any yet). Pick the second option if you want to "open your gates". Be sure you don't hit HOME button or you will end up disconnecting.

For low-leveled characters, that red dragon "イネムリドラゴン" can take forever to kill. According to a few videos, it seems like that the recommended level is around 50 (at least, if you're alone). The guy with level 55 already have his HP meter to yellow by the time he finishes the dragon with his friend, and then get 1000+ EXP for defeating one.

Until you reach the recommended level, you should just avoid them.

So, how was your experience with the game?

I'm advancing the story a bit since there was a dark gem that struck in my house's roof, and I have to carry some guy to a place. I'm now at level 4. By the way, if you're stuck, the red dot and red arrow will guide you to where to go. There are certain tasks that need to be done before continuing the story.
