    ooh… i can imagine just how hard that must be for her, but i’m really glad that she’s recovering okay otherwise. i hope her next surgery goes well, too, once she’s able to have it. 💜 and i get that… it’s hard to take care of yourself when all your energy’s going towards other things. sounds like you’re gonna have a super fun week, though! i hope you have lots of fun and make lots of great memories, and definitely treat yourself to that mani pedi once you’re home; you deserve it 💜

    i’ve been okay. life’s been a lot on my end as well, but i’m hanging in there the best i can. been super busy with school and exhausted, plus wasn’t doing great mentally for a few weeks, but i’m doing good rn. easter weekend definitely helped me feel more refreshed since i didn’t have any work to do for once and could just relax 😅

    i’m not sure my family knows how to not misbehave lol, but they’re doing alright. they’ve got some health problems going on, but they’re hanging in there the best they can, too. it’s been a reasonably peaceful couple of weeks here though, which has been a treat haha

    You deserve to be happy xara. That's a very mature perspective to have on your family, and it's one that I've only come to in the last couple years myself. Healing is definitely not a linear journey. I appreciate your kind words, they uplifted me a lot today. I hope you'll take your own advice as well, and treat yourself with kindness. :)

    I always loved the designs of Special Characters like Lyle, Shrunk, and Leif but it also made me sad because we probably wont ever get otters, axolotls, or sloth villagers! I hope they change this pattern and give us a ton of cuties with new personalities!

    same! i get that the special characters being different species than the villagers is part of what makes them special, but i’d still love to have axolotl, otter and owl villagers! sloth villagers would be so cute as well!

    yes and no haha. i adopted a 2nd kitty earlier this week, and it has been… an experience! bonk hasn’t been very happy about having another cat around, so things have been pretty busy and stressful around here. today’s been a calmer day so far though, so i’m hoping things will get better and everyone will adapt soon 😅💙
