    Oh love, hope you managed a glimpse of happiness on your day. I am properly old compared to you and my 21st just was so hard (my dad was dying of cancer 💔) The next year my mum took me to London for the first time.

    Sorry, not about me but some times you just can’t cope with special occasions. Just do something for you when you feel able. Life is about unexpected moments not dates on the calendar. You are so special and very loved 🥰😍❤️

    i’m so sorry, rox. that’s awful. it’s wonderful that you got to see london for the first time when you were 22, but i’m so sorry about your dad. occasions like your birthday always feel so weird when there’s bad stuff going on.

    my birthday was better than i expected it to be, but it was still kind of sad. birthdays aren’t the same for me anymore after the past year and a half; too much loss. plus i’ve been so busy and burnt out, i really just wasn’t looking forward to my birthday lol. but i went to the shelter and met a cat who i’ll be bringing home on monday, so at least one good thing happened. gonna be much more busy as a result, though lol :’) 💗
