I actually got a tablet back in the summer of 2015 (august I think) but I didn't start using it until January 2017 (ik im so terrible). But yeah I think that was part of why I delayed using it so much? I'm a person who is really afraid of change and I was just so used to my 3ds and Colors. but once I pushed myself to give it a try I loved it so much. I thought it would take me a long time to adjust to no screen too (like where I draw) but really I had no trouble.
I do know what you mean though haha... god I'd love to have a cintiq but they're hella expensive.
