Hey all, so I'm thinking of changing up my villager roster for next year.
I've given it a lot of thought, and I won't be restarting or selling my town. I've invested too much into collecting hard to get items in the catalog, making the town what it is aesthetically, and I think a part of me would sorely miss my village.
However, I think what I could benefit from is getting some new faces. I've had some of my villagers for quite a while, and am attached emotionally to several of them. However, there is always the 16 villager cycle, where I can see them while shopping, and sometimes seeing Punchy and Grizzly that way really makes me smile.
At the moment, I have an attachment to:
Marshal, he's moved in a nice little niche next to my mayor's house. He's the first one I see every morning. I was so starstruck when I adopted him, and I still am.
Kyle, I have a deep bond with him. He's the most definite and reassuring face of Vayne.
Wolfgang, I love him simply because he has such a great color scheme. Best imo. And he calls me Piper. <3
Poncho, he's got jokes, but I'm thinking of replacing him with Wade. He is hard to replace as I'm not a fan of very many Jocks and I've been attached ever since the GC era. And I still need a Jock.
Stella, for some odd reason I'm clinging to her.

But, I need to spread out my personalities as well, in order to get better PWPs. I love mostly Normals, Cranky and Smug villagers. But I require one Peppy, despite how much I dislike their general personalities, and one Uchi for the boss-level PWP requests. Shari is the only decently tolerable one.
I am not as attached to the other villagers in my town. Ever try to be but fail so hard? I think I can swap them out. I have Chief and Vivian's Amiibo cards so if I ever miss them sorely, they can always come back.
Ideally, who would you suggest as a Dream Team for 2017?
