2NE1 disbands

2NE1 has just disbanded, according to YG Entertainment. This really saddens me as they've been my favorite Kpop group for over two and a half years now.

I'm more saddened that Taehyun left Winner and the conditions in which it happened.

But honestly, it's bittersweet for all of them. YG is a jackass, his management is piss poor, and he treats his artists like crap. They all deserve better.

It sucked when 4Minute split up, but I like BTS more and if they ever do-- pleASE NOOoOoo... hopefully we'll get at least another 5 years out of them still waiting for someone to dump a load of won and BTS fan meeting tickets on my doorstep gdi

classic example of y'all making armys look bad lmao. stop bringing them up when the topic isn't related to them

anyway, i never really cared for 2ne1, but they 100% deserved more than yg. and to make matters worse, yg lit implied that blackpink are basically a replacement for 2ne1, except this time he wanted the girls to "look pretty and have skills too" like??? i hate 80% of the groups under yg but they all need to be saved from him. the poor trainees too...

He sure is already treating them like 2ne1; they hardly got to do anything between Square One and Square Two and everything they did do (including Square Two itself) was delayed. GG YG

I was sort of expecting this after Minzy left, but damn... it hurts. They had such a unique and awesome sound that stood out so much in the K-Pop world. Damn shame. I'll be a blackjack til I die... Now we all have to support the members on their solo endeavors and hope that BlackPink carries the torch of YG girl groups well, even if it'll never be even remotely the same :<
