I don't think so, but not everyone can spend RL money for commissions. Either they can't afford it or just don't want to spend the money. If you do TBT bell commissions, it opens the door for those who can't/want to spend RL money on commissions.

i have no idea how to price myself with tbt at the moment, hence the auction i have going! /o/

nnn i do wanna take tbt eventually but like i said i have no idea if there's any kind of conversion rate or anything...that and commissions are my only income so i prioritise paypal commissions over virtual currency.

Fair enough. Hmm, the only rate I know is between ACNL in-game bells and TBT bells. The rate varies a lot these days, but it's been around 8-10mil per 100 TBT generally. I know there are people who are trying to bring the rate down, but it's still around those rates.

someone told me they'd value my chibis at 700tbt so i'm gonna roll with that for now i think! thank you, though!
