I'm nearly set on getting the snow bunny (super paper mario!) but I LOVE the yule log and aurora sky
I feel like the aurora sky will be the best investment cuz people will be stringing those together, but can't decide!

what're your thoughts?

I know what you mean! I really like the sky, the snow bunny, and the yule log!!

I don't know which one to choose TT^TT

I have been told by others that they aren't giftable, which means it's gonna be really hard to choose one only.

I think I'm going to go for the aurora sky, it'll look so pretty with my heartwand as they have the same background!

The dark background collectibles are some of my favourites so I get what you mean!
edit: removed a bit

I just had a thought: imagine if it was the berry snow bunny and was pink :p

I wish they would make a dark background version of the easter eggs.

Then I could actually use my Yoshi eggs again. :(

I can't decide! I love both the aurora sky and the lil snow bunny, I have edited both into lineup ideas and love both equally.

I'm horrible at decision making. Whichever I choose, come next year when they are hopefully giftable I will buy whichever I missed out on.

i hope they become giftable, because i'm so fussy with my colour arrangement, i dont wanna buy a cute collectible and then have it sit in storage because it doesn't fit in with my lineup.

As much as I love them, I reaaalllllly wish they weren't 50 tinsel. This means we can only get one out of 3, and all are such amazing collectables. I really wish they were like the spring Sakuras; available for an extended period of time, sometimes selling out, sometimes being restocked and for tbt.

they should def give us enough tinsel to get 2 since they have 3 new collectibles instead of 2

pls staff

The bright side of choosing only 1 of 3 is that it will make all 3 just that more valuable and rare when they become possible to sell. ;) It is about time that there are more rare Christmas collectibles anyways (the Golden Candy, Christmas Candy, and the Lump of Coal being the current rarer ones).

I'm actually perfectly fine with that *not* being a factor, thank you very much

****ing rip to anyone trying to go for a full row of aurora next year though

It's weird cause for me the obvious choice is the Aurora Sky. The yule log is pretty cute though not my taste, and the snow bunny is also great but I just absolutely love the aurora!

But more valuable and rare=harder to find and more expensive once they're tradable ;(

They are called collectibles for a reason afterall. ;) It is just simple supply & demand principles at play. Additionally, newer members are helped tremendously by getting their hands on rarer collectibles which will allow them to have more on-hand TBT down the road as well if they decide to sell (TBT will definitely be more sought-after because of New Horizons trades).

yeah I understand I'm just saying that sometimes it's nice not to have to spend so much on some things! not everything can be a tier 1 collectible ;)

Yes exactly! Being rare isn't a perk, esp for those who don't actively sell collectables or have any other source of income that isn't just posting me, I never have alot of tbt

Yeah I agree, it's nice to be able to just keep collectibles! I don't want to sell all the new shiny things just so I can afford something else ;(

Going with the lovely aurora sky. I love the Snow Bunny but I have never liked the winter collectible background... however I would absolutely still buy the bunny anyway if we got enough tinsel for two, or if it was tradable for bells. It?s adorable.
