Unintentional Thread Lurker
Trying to start a journal and actually stick with it for once... I promise this thread will get better (hopefully! And some day I'll become better at coding too)
A little background information:
Lacie is the name of my town in New Leaf which I spent the most time playing (almost consistent daily play for 3+ years) and is the reason I joke that I've signed a Soul Contract to the Animal Crossing franchise. It holds a special place in my heart as it was one of the ways I was able to stay in touch and bond with some of my friends. As soon as I heard about New Horizons I pre-ordered immediately with no hesitation ^-^||
When I started playing on the first day I was shocked to see that my native settings were exactly the same as when I started my New Leaf journey (we still have our Peaches and triangle grass
)! It was magical to see. After seeing this and believing in fate, and also the suggestion of my platonic soulmate, I have named my island Lacie as well.
Due to my class schedule for university, I didn't have a lot of time to dedicate to my island at first... so even though I started day one my progress has been slow. However, as of the day I'm writing this (5/16/2020) I am free until next semester and hope to get back into playing more
So here's the "real" beginning of my island!
Here's to hopefully more years and many friends...
