Hey! I didn't get the Sanrio Cards when the came out, and was wondering if they're ever gonna re-stock. I hope so, but I'm not sure, as the target page just flat out doesn't exist anymore.

If you don't mind not having the cards themselves, you can get equivalents on places like Etsy for decent prices. They're not fully "legal" to buy and sell, but since Nintendo had such a limited release of the cards and it's unknown if they'll ever sell more I think it's fine.

The bootleg versions are easy enough to find, and the price is actually coming down even lower from what I've seen. When I bought mine, they were around $15, and I'm pretty sure I saw them for around $10 the other day. They all worked fine for me, so it's just a matter of whether you are a collector or not.

amazon is the best one it only 6 dollars and its real cause some are fake so i think if you want to buy it use amazon and i think its over night i duno

Couple of days ago, I saw a TikTok video of someone showing a lot of Sanrio amiibo cards restocked at Target and they were on clearance. I was surprised to see that, but I wasn't sure if any of those were restocked at the store. 👀

Amazon doesn't sell any real ones from what I've seen. Do you have a link?
no i dont have a link but i have a few pictures of real ones there just tiny ones tho

I had custom ones made.. I wasnt going fight online to place a order, plus my target is like 2 hours away..

Very unlikely, if there is news of a restock you will definitely hear about it from the community.
As for when no one really knows, but I can assume it's going to be a really long time. You're better off buying fake amiibo or making your own. The switch has no way of telling fake and real amiibo apart, so you won't get banned or anything. These are also very affordable and work exactly like the official amiibo.

I doubt they'll restock, especially after the release disaster and all the bad press that came with it. You can get a new pack of the Target cards on ebay for about $25 including shipping.

They might restock eventually, but not for awhile. It may also be very unlikely that they will. You would probably be better off just ordering them from ebay

Thats where I got mine, but theres also no target in my city

In Europe I was finally was able to order official Sanrio cards a month later from a local retailer. So I imagine they were restocking them to some degree. I don't know about now but if you really want the official cards my advice is look up the cards on the websites of your country's video game retailers, bookmark the cards' listings and check them all once a day. Google helps too.

In the US though your best chance now is probably checking out some Target store in person occasionally.

One of the Targets in my area restocked that Monday just after they were released, but I have no idea if it was new or leftover stock, and even so, they haven't restocked since.

I second (or third or forth, etc., at this point) buying the unofficial amiibo from Amazon/Etsy, if you don’t mind not having the official ones. They work just as well as the real deal, and are generally not that much more expensive.

OP I saw this today: https://www.essentiallysports.com/e...target-wont-sell-sanrio-amiibo-cards-anymore/

important part:
Unfortunately, Target recently announced that it will no longer be selling trading cards. Pokemon cards were the major highlights of this statement, but it includes all trading cards, even ACNH Sanrio amiibo cards.

This means all this patience that players were showing for a restock of amiibo cards from Target was for nothing. Not only that, players won’t be able to buy any cards unless Target changes its decision. However, to this date, it looks like Target won’t sell any trading cards, which is highly upsetting for all New Horizons fans.

So unfortunately it does look like target won't be doing any restocks any time soon.
