I only worked out what worked for me studying wise in the last year of university. Which was studying for a few hours then have a hour lunch just relaxing and eating not reading to much stuff online removing all the things I had just studied for. And then I would play video games for another hour then after that spend the rest of the afternoon studying till dinner then that is when I would stop and relax for the day. Then I would repeat this every day while studying for exams. With this method I found I remembered a lot more and was getting high marks on my exams.
