Diary of a Rosestar Resident

Welcome to Rosestar! I actually started this town last year in October before I quickly shifted my interest to smth else. I'm currently very into ACNH again so I'm picking it back up. Here are the earlier pics I have of this place.

~ Memory lane ~

My entrance is one of the first things I worked on. I wanted to immediately plot out paths so I could place the villager houses in spots that wouldn't later annoy me. So I took to qr codes and plotted out where I'd place things while I cleaned up.

I ended up placing a lot of things on the beach to keep them out of the way. Not that I minded a beach house.

These were my residents of the time. I dressed them all up for Halloween. Of them, I only intend to kedp Flurry and Maple. I will eventually set out on tracking down my dreamies.

My pumpkin patch was one of my first projects I was rather proud of. I think it looks neat at night and that the hay serves as a fitting and unique fencing.

Present Day ~

I have a lot of things I need to work on. This is my current entrance featuring "I need a new arch for this". Pink is my favourite colour and we are conveniently coming to cherry blossom season. So yes I'm looking forward to getting those diys.

I really want to make a cat cafe but really need actual. Cat furniture. I also want to dedicate a room in my house to my cat irl. So this is v wip still but cafe and basics are there at least.

This is a park I'm working on. Would love to trade my gazebo for a more fitting one. I need a picnic basket and flowers. Many many flowers. So many flowers.

I have also decided to dedicated a small part of my island to growing trees and eventually moving them to more pleasing places. Akin to my flower/ produce farm really. I want to transform my island from looking like a native orange fruit to peach. But orange will remain it's heart at least!

Wed Mar 9 2022 ----

I started getting to work at clearing out the upper right corner of my town. I wasn't too sure of what I would do with it at first but now I'm thinking of making it a second neighborhood. The houses stuck on the beach shall be freed.

Maple AKA one of the villagers I intend to keep will be the first I'll put in this new neighborhood. Mind you I still have to lay out the set up so that will be for the next post!

I did unlocl Cyrus and Reese though. The cutest couple that I shall take full advantage of to customize furniture. I was so excited when I learned this is a thing you can do. You mean I Don't have to trade people for specific colours anymore? I'm free? Heck yes.

I of course quickly applied this knowledge (and tried one of Harriet's haircuts).

Next up is Leif! I want plants. But also I just love the guy for inexplicable reasons. He's an adorable sloth and I appreciate his care for the environment.

In other news, I stole a cute sakura pond qr codes to fill some space and bc it fits so well. I'm gonna surround it with pink hyacinths! Eventually anyway. I need 27 of them... probably going to buy that off someone.

Things I want to do:

- little carnival
- gym by pumpkin patch
- decorate neighborhoods
- convenient fishing rivers on upper levels

Let's start off with something I've been meaning to do for eons. A pic of my current villagers! Which features many familiar faces and some new ones. The three I'm keeping are in front. Eventually I may tt and attempt to get: Muffy, Wolfgang, Genji, and Mint. The others will eventually become more sanrio villagers.

I also got go work on neighborhood two: the mini neighborhood. Ignore the star puddles here I was just trying to measure haha. Here is how it looks after working on it:

The river above is 100% for fishing.

I cleared out the top left area of my island for house #2. Btw I Am Not good at catching bees. Those bois get ne everytime and I struggle to switch to my net in time too. Good thing I had medicine handy this time.

I need much more softwood for my preferred fencing so I got chopping which also. Involved more bees. Luckily I was chopping by houses! Take that bees! I have the power of doors on my side!
... I still need to get more softwood tomorrow though.

(This is smth of a catch up post as I was too busy yesterday)

Going to Harv's island has become something of a routine. Especially for Cyrus haha. I have unlocked Tortimer and Kicks! Today we donate to Saharah. Also my two new styles from Harriet are the above and below vvv

I may not use this one but I did also take advantage of Harv's house to do a lil room planning.

You certainly know what my favourite colours are by now haha.

Leopold had decided to move away. Which I accidentally super sped up the process on when I time traveled a bit to build a bridge. I actually had Leopold on my og island because he reminded me aesthetically of a favourite character of mine (Seteth from FE3H) but I'm not keeping him this time evidently.

This is the bridge btw. It decides the fate of my gym and carnival area. Said carnival area is coming along nicely but I def have more to add. Like proper ground and whatever else I'm going to fill spots with. Haven't quite decided. Will probably look for inspiration on this!

We're moving around Bree and Gayle into new spots that aren't the beach! Also making an incline to lead to a gaming and bathing area. ^^

Finally updating this again! I'm going to start doing this once a week. o7

So I confess I'm a time traveler. I'm also a time traveler who got the 5 star rating for my town. <3
We have lily of the valleys now! Just a handful but I think they are neat no less.

Hehe. I just recently got this rating. For a while I was getting lily of the valleys and a 4 star rating somehow. ^^;

Okay! now let's tour the town. I will show you how things have been coming along and mention stuff I want to work on.

I need a soccer ball. But anyway! I've been working on my neighborhood slowly but surely. I've taken to watching town touring vids and going to dream addresses for ideas and inspo on How to do the neighborhood. I only have a few of my town's dreamies and I need some items for their yards. Very wip! But at least it's looking nice.

I have a little gym and hot springs area going on that I need to add detail and perhaps flooring to as well... Eventually. Ignore the random money tree I need to move haha.

Here is a build I've practically been dreaming of. A little aesthetically all of the place but a fancy little boardgame cafe no less! Inspired by a more aesthetically appropriate bubble tea shop near my house that features board games. I've wanted to do smth like this for eons! One day I'll recreate the build to be a little more pastel.

Speaking of pastel I guess- here is the old carnival! There is actually a mini park off to the left and a pool to the right all attached to this park. I've added little ropes like queue lines too. Thinking of also adding food stalls and changing rooms particularly along the top!

I bought a bunch of hybrids too so I made my little petal pond! I adore this area and it's just Slightly hidden from view but smth I adore no less. I love the cherry blossom season (thus I'm tting around in it struggling to get recipes haha).

I adjusted my farm today as well. Organized the flowers and boxed them in. Ignore the holes I'll get to those eventually (or let my game handle that for me when I tt again //brick'd). I'm almost considering working on blue pansies to even out the fields. But most of all I'm going to work on getting pink windflowers, pink tulips, and white hyacinths for my island. Praying to rng gods.

In terms of what I'll eventually add- I was thinking of trying an ice cream truck build or smth along those lines around this area.

I'm considering moving things around so I can put... something. Where the pumpkin patch is. Okay I'm not sure what I want to add on land exactly yet. This town is completely inspired by myself And an OC. Maybe I'll put a sparring area here? Maybe I'll make it a concert area? Library? IRL board game? I don't know. I do know I want to put the pumpkins where the campsite is and just make that area a farm.

And in terms of the campsite itself... I want to move it to the beach for beach filler! I thought a more tropical campsite might be cooler and I lack a lot of beach ideas anyway. Though I do also want to make a mermaid beach spa eventually, and a surf shop Eventually.
