When me and one of my old friends, I'll refer to her as Em, were about seven or eight we were both avid fans of wild world.
When our DS' had ran out of battery after a long session as my house playing the game, we'd go up to my room and get the DS and PlayStation cases off of the shelf and spread them out on the floor. These were villager houses.
Once we'd put them to satisfactory sizes, we'd proceed to fill them up with Playmobil furniture, saying what we wanted to reserve so that if the other found it we'd have to give it to the one of us who'd reserved it.
After filling up the houses with some furniture, we would take turns in picking animals to be villagers. I remember her favourite would be Chevre the goat
From there on we'd play for hours on end, moving villagers in and out and building up our houses.
When we went in Middle School, we slowly started to drift apart. By year seven, we'd totally lost touch with each other, but me and Em would sometimes walk home with each other. She found a new group of friends, that group of girls who were always on the verge of being popular, but not totally.
From there on we were in different regions of the school; she was in B and I was in A. She was second set, I was top set.
I bet she doesn't even think about playing Wild World anymore. People change.
Thanks for reading.
