Who was that one villager you hated at first but they started to grow onto you?

So my friend and I were talking about villagers and the ones we hated but they started to grow on them and I’m curious what everyone’s answers will be. For me? I have some but to name one: Eloise. (I’m not big on elephant villagers with the exception of Tia, but I first thought Eloise was ugly and hated how she’s the first person you have to make a first vacation house for, but she’s slowly grown on me now).

Hate is a strong word, but I wasn't too happy to see Carrie had autofilled on one of my islands at first. I thought I'd replace her as soon as I could with an amiibo and be done with her. Spoiler: that's not what happened. She quickly became one of my ultimate favorites. I'd find her always visiting others, warning me when her neighbors were sick and overall being a sweetheart. She'd hang out with Joey the baby duck a lot too. Best island mom ever. I would step on four legos for Carrie. If I ever make a forever island and she's not on it, you can assume I've been replaced by aliens.

Papi. I was mad because he moved in right after Jacques (My second favorite villager) moved out from a tragic incident of me ignoring my town like an idiot. I was so mad that the glorified zebra took my second favorites place but honestly he grew on me. I don't LOVE him or anything but I liked the vibes he brought to my town and I recently got his amiibo card!!!

ACNH was my first Animal Crossing game, so each villager I met was for the first time. When building the three plots, the spot for the peppy villager filled in and it was Truffles. I looked her up and immediately hated her. I didn't like her face and was very upset when she moved in. But as I played more and talked to her, I ended up really liking her. Peppy is my second favorite personality (after smug) and she helped me realize that.

Cranston. Did not like his character, but he's been in my town for so long at this point that when I went back to my town after a while using a new villager and saw he was gone, I time travelled to keep him from leaving

Not gonna lie I was not happy when I saw Rasher move into my island. But he quickly became one of my top favorite villagers in the entire game, probably right next to O’hare who is my number one favorite. Because of Rasher I actually started to love cranky villagers a lot more than I did in ACNL! Now I have to resist filling my entire island with them haha

In my second Wild World playthrough, one of my starting villagers was Chow and I absolutely HATED him at first, but somehow over time he grew on me HARD, and now he's one of my favourites ^^ I was actually sad when he moved out, too...
