you found one of mine at 56! the only dreamie i’ve been able to find so far is zucker and he wasn’t even a dreamie when i got him lol - got him after using 27 or so tickets

haven't tried for all of them yet, but i got beau on the 4th island in a search, bianca on a 2nd and papi on 3rd! ridiculously lucky. maybe it's a game mechanic to make up for not getting hardly any DIYs at all?? lmfao

Of course, I have about 20 villagers I would be happy with, so I've never been looking for just one specific villager. Still, all three of the above were in my top 12 (with Tangy as #1), so I was extremely happy to find them.

I've gotten Drake twice

D-Drake! With that weird glitch I've been hearing of (which is apparently fixed?), I wouldn't want to ask someone to get him from an island then somehow make him move to my island, but I don't know if I'll encounter him on any random Nook Miles islands. (When do random villagers start appearing on the islands again after the first three are chosen, anyways?)

I think I'll just have to force him onto my island using the Amiibo method eventually, once I have that.

I wish we could bring people to deserted islands that we visit so they can pick up villagers that we find. OTL

That really would be a good feature. However, wouldn't that require me to be visiting you before you'd depart to the random island? I guess Nintendo would've found some way to let others go to that island if they didn't limit it to singleplayer.

Speaking of Drake, it's odd that no one has made any posts about trying to "sell" him in the New Neighbor Network. There's many other villagers in that forum, but not Drake.

Jacques at 142... wow. I rerolled a few islands to look for interesting villagers but I knew that there was no way I would acquire hundreds of tickets for my dreamies. I can't imagine the process of collecting that many in the first place, lol. I'll just find someone who has him in boxes someday, I hope.

once you have the campsite built and are able to plot your last 4 plots, you should be able to get drake from someone

I'm new around here; What do abbreviations like this stand for? I've also seen "TBT" but I'm guessing that's "The Bell Tree".

from what i’ve read, the glitch only happens if amiibo is involved so if drake were forced to move out via amiibo. i’ve also read that it sometimes happens if a villager takes over a plot that has been occupied before but villager trading isn’t something i really do so i’m not 100% certain. there’s a thread in the new neighbour network that has a bit more info about it so hopefully this helps a bit: https://www.belltreeforums.com/threads/glitches-from-the-adoption-of-villagers.480956
