I watched a YouTube video by someone who created a wall of tarantulas as a way to sell them for chunky bells. I handed a Emperor butterfly to Timmy and Tommy and they were worth 4,000 bells. I decided to not sell the second Emperor butterfly and save it until I have a wall of Emperor butterflies to sell for chunky bells. I love finding out ways to get a lot of bells. Especially if you have a house to pay off with bells.

I found another way to make bells faster. If you sell all your vegetables and non native fruit you can make so many bells that way. Not only that but Blue Roses can also sell for a lot more too. I've been doing all sorts of testing and I found out thats a quick way to make bells faster. The Stock Market is overrated so I wanted to try something to make bells legit without having to worry about the turnips because trust me I over did it last year and 2020.

That's a great tip, especially with the expanded storage!

Now that my fossil museum section is finished, I dig up my fossils each day (that I play) and dump them in my storage. Eventually I'll pull an inventory full of fossils out of storage and have Blathers identify them in bulk, then sell them at Nooks. They're worth quite a lot! 😊

I wonder if crafting the vegetables into items using DIY food recipes makes them worth more at Nooks too? I haven't tried!

I also found out that sometimes Timmy and Tommy can buy your food items for a hot price. Like today they were asking for a "Tomato Curry" and I got a lot more bells that way. I had no idea that food items would count as "hot items".

My favorite ways of making bells are selling all the fruit and veggies from my farm/orchard and going fishing too, I love fishing.
I'd love to see all the interesting ways people make bells here!

My favorite way to make bells was definitely with turnips. My prices were always crappy, though, so going to other islands was my goto.

When I got my 2nd switch and 2nd island I was able to get turnip prices for myself that I got addicted to it. That used to be my go since last year, but this year I am no longer doing that and doing things slowly to get more bells. I recently made a new character on my island so I am challenging myself to not do the stock market so I can repay my loan for like the 50th time.

High valued insects and fish sell for more when you sell them to Flick and CJ when they visit. So make sure to stock on all of those critters and definitely take advantage when Flick and CJ comes over to your town. I also second the crops. They sell for a lot and they harvest more frequently than fruits.

I made most of my bells while pursuing all the stamps. You have to catch so many bugs and fish for those, among other things, that I had more money than I ever needed by the time I got them all. ^o^;>

I miss the days of when in NL I would spend the entire night just farming beetles for bells on Tortimer's Island... good times

I got all the bells I'll ever need by selling turnips in New Horizons, but in the early game I had a couple walls of scorpions!

Food is surprisingly a really good way of making Bells if you're efficient enough in maintaining your ingredients that you are growing. Even more so, the recipes using fish you catch are also really great for making Bells since many don't require any additional ingredients. Even a Sea Bass can turn into 1240 Bells with 3 flour, which is really easy to get!

I usually sell all the fruit on my trees every few days and all the vegetables/plants in my garden (wheat, sugarcane, carrots, tomatoes, pumpkins, potatoes. That usually gets me a good amount of bells. It is tedious to do though. One of my favorite ways is fishing, I sometimes spend hours fishing, and sell all of them. I still dig up my fossils to get assessed then sell those too. I'm just now starting to get into the turnip market after not doing that since starting playing back in New Leaf. I don't know why I never tried it before recently. I guess I just never had anybody's town's/islands to visit before because I didn't know anyone who played the game and wasn't on a forum or community like this.
