A part of the intro made me choke up in the best way.

For long-time fans who've started the game, I wonder if you felt strongly during a scene in the intro sequence as well. I didn't grow up with the first game but I'm in deep enough that it hit me hard, along with my life experiences.

I know exactly what you're talking about and I actually saw it in a play through I'm watching today. It made my throat close up and I realized I didn't want to spoil that part for myself so I actually skipped ahead and waited for the rest of the initial intro to end so that I could watch the regular game play and see that particular scene for the first time on my own when I get my copy tomorrow.

If you’re referring to what I think you’re referring too; yes absolutely. I felt my eyes get misty and made an excuse to go into my room for a minute. It’s crazy to see how time flies.

I did grow up with the first game, and it is a very important part of my life to make a long story short. Nostalgia hit hard. It may be pretentious to say, but nothing can choke me up like the opening song for gamecube version.

I think it's understandable since we all did grow up and have our own lives and maybe move out
