If you don't believe me, whenever a villager of the Peppy Personality has a thought bubble on their head, they may say they've been exhausted on jet setting all over the world.

Now, Jet Setting is: (Taken from the definition of Google, correct me if i'm wrong)

"Characteristic of or denoting a wealthy and fashionable person who travels widely and frequently for pleasure."

Looking up the images for Jet Setting includes a plane. And we have a plane in New Horizons. So it clearly means Pocket Camp predicted New Horizons.

Now, if this is wrong or irrelevant, feel free to close this.

I think you're drawing a line between in-game dialogue and Nintendo's actions that just doesn't exist.

"Jet setting" is such a commonplace term that I don't think you could possibly say that Pocket Camp predicted the existence or determined the game setting of New Horizons just from that piece of dialog.

However, you can say that the game design of Pocket Camp influenced New Horizons. There are several mechanics in Pocket Camp that were shown in the Nintendo presentations today.

So Jet Setting means nothing then? Ok...

I never really thought they'd put Pocket Camp mechanics into our mainline series. Perhaps this is what they meant by having Pocket Camp stuff transferred to AC Switch. Or maybe i'm a bit off here...
