Serious question - when did it become a thing to decorate graduation caps? I've seen it for a while now, but it sure wasn't a thing when I was in school. I assume social media made it a thing (because social media also started other stuff, like promposals), but don't know when it actually started up.
I'm not graduating this year, but next year. I probably won't be decorating mine, at least not until the official ceremony is over. I think it looks cleaner and more professional if it's left plain in my opinion. But I wouldn't mind decorating it with some of my high points in collage afterwards I decorated my senior uniform tie when I graduated from high school as a keepsake, so I may do the same for my cap. I saw one cap that was posted online of a graduating electrical engineer who covered their hat with circuit patterns and an actual electrical circuit with LEDs and it looked really cool!
i don't think i'll be having a Proper Graduation since i'm homeschooled but if i DID i would like to decorate my cap ヘ(。□?)ヘ maybe like something splatoon or animal crossing or decora???
