I woke up this morning to a sharp stab in my ribs. I lept up, and waited a moment before leaving my house. Once I did, I felt better, but I just kept running mindlessly. Where was I going? I finally stopped, and reached into my pockets to pull out my net. Wow, a net fit in my pockets? Weird... I ran around and finally caught something, a monarch butterfly. I put it in my pocket...ewww I really need to stop doing that. But anyway, that's when I noticed how bad my town looked. Weeds everywhere, and hardly any trees. I wished my friends were there to help. Like magic, one of my friends came! Followed by two others! We spent all day breaking our backs planting and picking and watering and digging. It was hard, and I ached all over when we were done. But I guess I better get used to it. Life ain't no video game.
