A thought on The Roost and DIY Cooking I had...

Apologies if this isn't the place for this, but I just had this thought and wanted to share it.

Okay, so, with The Roost returning... what if we are able to work for him like we could in New Leaf and we were rewarding with coffee beans... and a DIY to brew our own coffee?

I can see them wanting to hide an eventual working for Brewster mechanic from the Direct to not distract/confuse viewers with the later DLC that begins with “I want to go to work”

the part-time job minigame from new leaf is one of the main things i was hoping would return with brewster and the roost, so i would absolutely love this! i was disappointed when i saw no mention of it in the direct, but i never considered that maybe they left it out in order to avoid confusion with hhp’s “i want to go to work” option. :’o

i suppose we’ll have to wait until november to find out whether it’s been included or not, but fingers crossed!

There has to be a lot they didn't show because they did say something along the lines of more crops to grow. I so bad want corn lol. I had a corn field in one of my NL houses that I loved and I want to recreate it outside.

Also I am sure that we can't just cook stuff outright. We probably need to get the DIY. And maybe Brewster is the one that gives them to us and so to compensate those who wouldn't want to work at the Roost they have an incentive now. And to get a DIY and not some common thing from him you need to do a good enough job getting the coffee orders right.

Just speculation though and probably way off. Also I really wanted a return to mini-games and hide-and-seek, but then I realized they never specified what Tortimer did at Harv's. So he could somehow come with games for us to play. Seems like something he would be involved in.
