Day 105. Two blogs in a row, what trechery is this?! Haha, believe it or not I'm actually not feeling too lazy today! HOORAH! Well, today was a pretty good day, all things considered. School went well, but nothing out of the ordinary happened that I can think of right now. After school is what really kept me busy! At 4:15ish, I had my piano lesson. I've been practicing for a contest coming up in May. I have to memorize two songs and play them in front of a judge. I'm very nervous, but also excited, you know. Anyway, the two songs I'm going to play are Canon in D and some Sonitina none of you have probably heard about. I have Canon in D 99% memorized, which is great. The Sonitina... Not so much! But I got two weeks, no sweat right? Moving on, the next thing I did was practice with my former band teacher for my other solo contest. This time it's for percussion, and the contest is in two days! I'm playing one song on marimba, one on snare, and one on timpini. She's accompanying me on piano, so we had to practice syncopation, you know. So yeah, that went well. I'm nervous still, but a bit more confident. The last thing I did was practice with my band. We played through a few songs and whatnot, which is always fun. It's great to be able to cut loose and play whatever I want on the drums without anyone telling me to do something else, you know. I mean, there's a few sandards, beings as we're playing in a church, but overall... Yeah. After all this was done, I just did some homework and went to bed. I guess that's it.
