Aali's Art Dump

Aali, instead of tracing, I would recommend you to download free bases on deviantart instead, if you're into that sorta thing. If you want to trace, please don't post them here. It should only be for your own practice.

I only posted hem because this is a thread to show my progress. I did a few pieces to get used to drawing on a tablet. I think I can post these in my own thread

figure id recommend making sharp, quick strokes instead of slow strokes. i have the same issue as you (perpetually shaky hands) and can only get a sharp line in by making a very quick stroke. youll have to retry the line several times to align it properly, but at least they wont be shaky.

good work with jiggle hands despite it though.

I've tried doing quick lines, I just don't like how it looks

I think I might take a break from drawing. I know I just bought this tablet, but I get excited to draw and when I do I get sad and aggrivated, which is something i don't want from a hobby

I know the lines are crappy as f*** but I have this thing. I call it "Jiggle hands" I have shaky hands they never stop shaking (it's heritary) so my hands shake all the time, make straight and clean lines very hard to do
uhhh my hands shake a lot too! i use the stabilizer settings in sai, but when i paint i dont use any ^^

I think I'm just gonna give up. I've been trying multiple times over the past few days and I just get so frustrated to the point that I've actually chucked my pen across my room once or twice (how it still works is beyond me)

glad I wasted $25 on a tablet that I'll probably let sit there ad collect dust :/

If you want to do art and like it, don't give up because of failure. That approach is not healthy for just anything in life, those who give up don't achieve much, but those who fail a lot but refuse to give up go to great heights.

Just take a healthy approach, don't stress it, don't think you have to be perfect right away. It takes time.

We all sucked at first. You'd laugh at my stuff back in the day.

I tried to draw my dog as the Grim Reaper....because he is evillllll
