Abandoned tents

I have 4 abandoned tents from deleted users on my island. I've been reading similar posts and trying everything that is suggested but STILL can't figure it out! I don't want these here forever! Help?

I think there is a way to delete them if you ask Tom Nook about infrastructure.

Since you deleted the profiles before deleting the players, I believe you'll need to speak to Tom Nook on the title screen. Normally he'll instruct you that only players can delete themselves, but since the profile is gone now, he may be more willing to help.

The title screen is the first screen you see when you boot up the game. You should save your game and exit completely, then start the game up again. Then by pressing the minus key you will get to a screen to talk to Tom Nook.

I've seen this issue pop up a few times, though I've never needed to try the solution myself. Here is a link for an outside source that has a step by step guide to do it. There is a separate guide further down for if the tent-owner's account is deleted, so you'll have to scroll down.

Again, I haven't tried it, but hope it works for you!
